Congratulations on your recent decision to end your regular employment with the City of Fort Lauderdale.  All Police and Firefighters who are retired, vested, on disability or in the Drop Plan, or their Survivors are eligible for membership.

To become an active member you only need to pay the yearly dues, please fill out and return: 

 

1. Address Consent and Information Form- fill out and return.

 

2. If you elect automatic payroll deduction, please fill out and return the Dues Deduction Authorization form.

 

Although your Pension probably seems very adequate at this time, if history repeats itself, you will also find your buying power eroded, or Pension Ordinances being changed that might adversely affect your earnings.
